Sr. Azure Engineer

Location Onsite - 811 Louisiana St , Houston, TX 77002 (Need Local Candidates)

Need 10+ years of profile.

Need Someone who is 50% in the azure cloud side and 30% in the networking side and 20% in the database side.

Azure Engineer
Client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Engineer. The ideal candidate will be deeply knowledgeable in all facets of Azure, including subscriptions, third-party integrations, networking, Azure Route Tables, and Azure Active Directory. Additionally, a significant plus is proficiency in ALA (Azure Logic Apps) and Function Apps with a focus (as middleware) on bespoke.

Key Responsibilities
- Design , develop , integrate , deploy, and maintain Azure environments independently and also be able to partner with vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, design solutions, and implement Azure-based systems and services.
- Configure and optimize Azure subscriptions, ensuring efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and manage Azure Route Tables to optimize network traffic and enhance performance.
- Administer Azure Active Directory, including user management, access control, and security configurations.
- Integrate third-party solutions and services with Azure to extend functionality and enhance capabilities.
- Monitor Azure environments for performance, security, and compliance, implementing proactive measures to address issues and mitigate risks.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients on Azure-related matters, offering expert advice and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Extensive experience working with Azure, with a deep understanding of its core components and services (Synapse/Data Lake, Data Factory)
  • Solid Knowledge of TCP-IP, DNS, AD/MS-Entra, Azure Network Integration, and capability to Triage each independently.
  • Proficiency in Azure Route Tables and Azure Active Directory, with demonstrated expertise in configuration and administration.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols, with the ability to design and implement robust network architectures in Azure environments.
  • Experience with third-party integrations and vendor management within Azure.
  • Familiarity with ALA (Azure Logic Apps) is highly desirable .
  • Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) & Database Model/development is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Azure environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
