RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Milwaukee, WI that is seeking to hire an onsite Network Engineer.
Summary:
As a Network Engineer, you will design, develop, implement, and maintain complex systems, ensuring they function as intended and meet organizational needs. This is a contract position with potential to go to hire. They need someone that has experience, can work in an ambiguous environment, and has great collaboration skills.
Duties:
* Network Engineer will manage and monitor all Network systems/infrastructure to be in accordance with company guidelines or SOP's
* Defines customers' needs and functionality in a service development cycle
* Assists in the coordination of various teams, testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best (practices) output
* As a Network Engineer, you will plan and implement system automation as required for better efficiency
* Manages work processes, optimization methods, and risk management tools
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering or related roles
* Experience with cloud platforms
* Strong knowledge of Network configurations
* Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls
* Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
* Proactive Cybersecurity
* Driven to learn, uncover, understand, and challenge status quo
* Effective communication - deliver a message using business acumen with clarity and connect intended audience
* Critical thinking - strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, using data and objectivity to make decisions and recommendations
* Must be onsite in Milwaukee
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
