Description
SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking a Federal Laboratory Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory (SETA) services to a United States government customer. The Fed Labs SETA will support the government's requirement to build a technology transfer infrastructure for a Fed Lab described as a "front door" for a U.S. Government agency. This Fed Lab promotes collaborative opportunities with innovation partners to include industry, academia, and other non-federal entities who submit white papers, concept proposals, and initiatives. These submissions often lead to the development of appropriate partnership mechanisms such as Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA) and Partnership Intermediary Agreements (PIA).

Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Work across government customer offices to develop and manage a sharing infrastructure to support existing Ways of Working processes in the following:- Document technology transfer opportunities
- Share them with government/contractor workforce in support of customer programs
- Track pitches, programs, and transitions consistent with the Ways of Working
 
- Deliver digital resources available via Confluence, SharePoint, and agency public website that explains the Fed Lab mission and collaboration opportunities
- Coordinate with government customer office to develop training opportunities
- Coordinate with Office of Public Affairs (OPA) to develop a Federal Laboratory website and,- Monitor website for new and existing partners' submissions (e.g. white papers, proposals, and initiatives)
- Track submissions through customer Ways of Working process while maintaining effective feedback loops with submitters
 
- Collaborate with technology transition and transfer offices across Government, Intelligence Community (IC), Other Government Agencies (OGA), and Federal Laboratory Consortium to discover and share best practices, assess strategies, and suggest/implement changes
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
- BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math with 8 years of relevant experience
- Effective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and writing skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Patents and Intellectual Property (IP)
- Experience working with Confluence and SharePoint
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Prior business analyst and consulting experience
