Role Overview:
As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will play a critical role in commissioning and testing robotic systems, developing robust validation tools, and interfacing with design, quality, and production teams to ensure scalable and efficient manufacturing processes.
Typical Responsibilities Include:
Designing and documenting commissioning and functional test processes, fixtures, and tools.
Automating tasks related to motors, sensors, PLCs, and networked devices.
Developing process documentation, work instructions, and validation plans.
Collaborating with design and quality teams for Design for Testability (DFT) and Manufacturability (DFM).
Supporting training for technicians and contract manufacturing partners.
Participating in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and ensuring systems are shipment-ready.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics.
3 7+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems.
Strong understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, and safety systems.
Hands-on experience with test instruments (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer).
Familiarity with Siemens PLCs and industrial communication protocols.
Experience in scaling production and working with contract manufacturers is a plus.
Certification for high-voltage and UL508A electrical cabinets is a bonus.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
