Job Title: Solutions Architect

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex, enterprise-grade technology solutions. This role works closely with sales, engineering, and clients to drive strategic opportunities, ensure technical excellence, and communicate the value of solutions at all executive levels. The Solutions Architect plays a critical role throughout the pre-sales and delivery lifecycle, from discovery through implementation handoff.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for strategic and large mid-market opportunities
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer business objectives and technical environments, including data, internet, voice, video, and related technologies
- Own end-to-end technical solution design, including architecture, scope definition, and documentation
- Develop and deliver technical designs, ICBs, and Statements of Work (SOW) for pre-sales engagements
- Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to support pipeline development and opportunity success
- Actively engage with clients, providing technical guidance and trusted-advisor support throughout the sales cycle
- Communicate complex technical concepts and business value effectively to C-level executives, including CFOs
- Build and present Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and business cases
- Support product innovation initiatives by providing market and customer feedback
- Ensure smooth technical handoff from pre-sales to post-sales implementation teams
- Escalate and collaborate internally as needed to ensure successful outcomes
- Take ownership of the overall deliverable process from design through execution
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or similar technical leadership roles
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and enterprise IT environments
- Fortinet NSE 6+ certification preferred
- CCNA and/or CCNP certifications preferred
- Proven experience working directly with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Ability to design and articulate complex, multi-discipline solutions
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
