Title: Live Video Distribution Engineer / OTT Streaming

Job Description:

• Manage day-to-day setup, configuration, and monitoring of the live signal acquisition video pipeline.
• Serve as the primary specialist for setting up and ensuring smooth operation of live sports events for major clients (UFC/Paramount).
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues impacting contribution and distribution feeds in real-time.
• Deep expertise required in IP transmission and various IP video workflows, including Multicast/Unicast.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for service interruptions and document anomalies for permanent resolution.
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of OTT video distribution technology and architecture, including UHD/4K/HDR streaming.
• Hands-on experience with video transport protocols like RTP, RTMP, SRT, Zixi, and RIST.
• Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to escalate and resolve higher-level technical problems.
• Responsible for updating and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and performing maintenance window updates.
• Must have flexible availability to work nights and weekends to meet 24/7 operational demands.
