Job Details

  • Serve as the lead technical expert for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems, including Sensus AMI, Neptune 360, Itron/Temetra, and Metron Farnier.

  • Administer and support water quality monitoring and compliance applications to ensure regulatory adherence.

  • Manage and maintain the custom Meter Test Bench application, focusing on test accuracy and data integrity.

  • Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy for regulatory compliance across all relevant systems.

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Water Quality Management System.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize system downtime.

  • Configure, manage, and maintain system integrations across platforms.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all supported systems.

  • Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent operational practices.

  • Maintain up-to-date system architecture and integration diagrams.

  • Prepare detailed technical specifications and requirements for system enhancements and upgrades.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility operations and related technology applications

  • Demonstrated expertise in utility operations software and systems

  • Proficient in database management and SQL, with a strong understanding of data structures and queries

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

  • In-depth knowledge of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems and meter data management

  • Familiarity with water quality monitoring systems and compliance reporting

  • Experience working with mobile workforce management platforms

  • Strong background in system administration and user support

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation

  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments

  • Effective at identifying and resolving real-time operational problems

  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality service delivery

  • Self-starter who thrives working independently and takes ownership of responsibilities
