Job Details
Position: Power BI tester
Location: Red Wing, Minnesota (2-3 days onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
MOURITech is looking for a Senior Power BI tester with 6 to 8 years of experience in Power BI Testing. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, expertise in relational databases, and the ability to create automated validation and regression tests.
Primary Skills:
- Experience in BI/Report testing
- Ability to develop test strategy, suite, and cases to thoroughly test a SSAS tabular data models
- Strong experience in writing SQL statements
- Knowledge of relational databases can navigate and extract data
- Ability to develop automated validation tests that can identify if data anomalies occur in production and mechanisms for data stewards to correct them
- Ability to develop automated regression suites
- Ability to handle defect management and test status reporting activities will need to follow QA standards and processes already in place
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams spread across onshore and offshore
- Strong manual testing skills
- Strong QA process skills
Secondary Skills:
- Experience with TFS (Azure DevOps) and MTM, along with Office products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
