Job Title: IT Project Manager


Location: Redwood City, CA 94063 - Hybrid Role - 2 Day onsite


Duration: 12 Months (Extension/Conversion based on performance)


Pay Rate: ($55-$58) hourly


Description:



  • The role is 80% project leadership and 20% technical contribution.


Qualification:

Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight to ten years of related experience in the management of projects with extensive size/complexity and moderate performance risk, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Previous experience managing large IT infrastructure projects and building renovation projects.



Responsibilities




  • Lead full project lifecycle: initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control, close.




  • Manage network and telecom projects, including wired/wireless network upgrades, security, NetDB evaluation, Next Generation 911 POC, and DAS installations.




  • Oversee IT infrastructure for new buildings and renovations, coordinating with A/V, Networking, Security, Voice/Video, and Card Services teams.




  • Develop project charters, plans, budgets, and work breakdown structures.




  • Manage stakeholders, change, and communications, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, and budget.




  • Monitor risks, track progress, perform vendor evaluation, and ensure successful project delivery.




Requirements




  • Education: Bachelor s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).




  • Experience: 8 10 years managing large IT infrastructure and building renovation projects.




  • Certification: PMP strongly desired.




  • Skills: Project management (Agile & Waterfall), budgeting, risk management, stakeholder management, leadership, team coordination.




  • Technical Knowledge: Networking, VoIP/telecom, A/V, card access, building IT systems.




  • Tools: MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio), project management software, SDLC understanding.
