This role will report to Headquarters in downtown Columbus, OH - candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius and will work onsite 5 days/week.

Intent to convert determined by successful performance.

Manager prefers candidates with the required Bachelor or Associate degree with the required years of experience.

Job Summary:

Work under limited supervision. Responsible for performing the planning, analysis, recommendation, implementation and support of business unit applications. Facilitate and perform the delivery of application support services including the preparation of cost justifications, business case development, alternative solutions and application requirements and recommendations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Establish and maintain a close working relationship with Supply Chain, Procurement & Fleet Operations (SCPFO) personnel, its customers, other departments, and cross-functional teams in the development, maintenance, testing and support of Asset Suite and other SCPFO applications.

Provide analysis and implementation support of new technologies that would enhance SCPFO operations and its ability to serve its customers. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current system technologies while identifying opportunities for SCPFO to adapt these technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

Assist in the development, coordination, and support of software tools in alignment with a forward-looking technology roadmap, jointly developed with the IT organization.

Communicate application functionality to business unit personnel to maximize system capabilities in meeting process requirements.

Lead business unit focus groups and process improvement initiatives to prioritize and escalate system issues for evaluation and resolution.

Develop reports to research and resolve data, system and business process integrity issues. Develop and present business documents and reports clearly, concisely and effectively.

Gather requirements and provide specification input, testing and support for new or changing business processes. Prepare test scripts and documentation to support the application production migration process.

Develop procedures, quick reference guides and other documentation to improve usage of SCPFO applications.

Develop business cases and cost justifications to support business process requirements.

Work with suppliers and SCPFO personnel to expand and adopt electronic commerce opportunities (e.g. Procure to Pay solutions).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study such as Accounting or Business Administration or Associates degree with 2 years systems support experience involving programming, coding, SQL querying or advanced reporting requiring complex table joins and multiple data sources or high school diploma/GED with 4 years systems support experience involving programming, coding, SQL querying or advanced reporting requiring complex table joins and multiple data sources.

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years systems support related experience (in addition to any experience identified above).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1)Maximo Inventory modules experience (Item Master, Inventory Usage, Shipment Receiving, Inventory Counting) is a must.

2)Barcoding application experience is a must.

3)Working knowledge of Cognos or SQL Query writing is a must.

4)ServiceNow and Jira experience is a plus.

5)Maintain technical industry knowledge, an understanding of AEP regulatory/legal/financial guidelines and a working knowledge of business unit processes and procedures.

6)Possess the team-oriented and self-motivated qualities necessary to be an effective facilitator and participant in business unit process improvement initiatives.

7)Provide advanced level system support and subject matter expertise.

8)Learn and adopt SCPFO "lean" initiatives and assist in the continued improvement of processes and application usage.

9)Respond to user questions such as performance testing, data integrity and problem analysis, and issue resolution.

10)Demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills to communicate to business unit personnel in advance of any changes to application functionality, systems status and outage schedules.

11)Demonstrate advanced level of knowledge of MS-Office skills and reporting.

12)Prepare reports for the purpose of troubleshooting and data integrity analysis. Record and track system issues through final resolution.

13)Effectively communicate and collaborate with leadership, business unit personnel, their customers and suppliers in order to promote the most efficient and effective use of business unit applications.

14)Supply Chain, Procurement and Fleet experience is preferred.

Pay: $39-$41
