Client has an immediate opening for an Oracle Cloud Inventory & Costing Lead: utilities experience req; Quality & PDSC integration desired

Construction background required. Not as important as having done this work in a utility s environment. But it is helpful.

Also, quality isn't a part of SCM, it integrates...can they live without it or just as an integration? Integration into Quality.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle SCM Inventory & Costing Lead with a strong background in Oracle Quality and deep domain knowledge in Inventory and Costing processes, specifically in a Project Driven Supply Chain (PDSC) environment. This role is ideal for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who thrives on designing and implementing scalable Oracle Cloud SCM solutions within the Utilities industry. The ideal candidate will drive solution design, configuration, implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of inventory management, costing, and quality processes in a cloud-first ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead global design workshops to gather business requirements related to Inventory, Costing, and Quality modules.

Design and configure Oracle Cloud Inventory and Costing modules, with a focus on:

Lot control and serial control processes

Project Driven Supply Chain (PDSC) integration

Inventory organization and locator structure

Costing methodologies, cost accounting, receipt accounting, and reconciliation

Evaluate and guide implementation of the Oracle Quality module for managing inspections and compliance requirements.

Act as a trusted SME across Inventory, Costing, and Quality modules, aligning solutions with business goals and Oracle Cloud best practices.

Create and maintain solution design documents, configuration workbooks, and requirements traceability matrices (RTMs).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Finance, and external system owners to ensure seamless end-to-end integration.

Lead and support key testing cycles (CRP, SIT, UAT, Performance Testing), defect resolution, and user acceptance.

Support change management and training efforts, including delivery of end-user training and documentation.

Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements related to inventory and costing processes.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 7+ years of experience with Oracle SCM modules, with specific expertise in:

Oracle Cloud Inventory

Oracle Cloud Costing

Oracle Quality integration

PDSC integration

Proven experience leading Oracle Cloud implementations in the Utilities industry, with a deep understanding of PDSC.

Strong functional knowledge of lot and serial control, inventory transactions, valuation, accounting flows, and quality inspection processes.

Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale global implementations and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

Strong documentation skills including the creation of configuration workbooks, design specs, and training materials.

Hands-on experience with test case development, execution, and defect management.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Oracle Cloud Certification in:

Inventory Management

Costing

Experience with external system integrations and third-party logistics providers.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance and auditing standards within the Utilities sector.

Experience in managing or supporting multi-org, multi-country rollouts.
