We are looking for an experienced Executive Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Oakland. In this contract-to-permanent Executive Desktop Support role, you will play a key part in delivering technical assistance and resolving hardware and software issues for end-users. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, ensuring minimal disruption to end-user productivity.
- Provide comprehensive support for software applications, including troubleshooting and installation.
- Manage and maintain Mac OS systems efficiently, ensuring optimal performance.
- Utilize Jamf Pro to oversee device management and implement security protocols.
- Assist in configuring and upgrading operating systems, including Windows OS.
- Deliver technical guidance on the use of productivity tools such as Office.
- Collaborate with team members to address complex technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.
- Document resolutions and maintain accurate records of service requests.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and protocols in all technical operations.
- Provide timely support to users in person, remotely, and through ticketing system
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
- Proficiency in Mac OS and experience managing devices using Jamf Pro.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and associated protocols.
- Familiarity with Office applications and other productivity software.
- Experience supporting Intune and Okta.
- Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting hardware issues and performing repairs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate technical information effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills for tracking service requests.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
