The Automation Tester will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute automated testing strategies, ensuring thorough testing of Eligibility and Interfaces modules. The Automation Tester will be responsible for automating end-to-end testing processes and identifying opportunities to enhance the quality and efficiency of the system.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and execute automated tests for Integrated Eligibility systems, including programs, data conversion processes, and modules related to Eligibility and Interfaces.
- Automate and maintain test scripts to ensure complete testing across Eligibility and Interfaces modules.
- Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans.
- Define and implement automation strategies, goals, and deliverables to ensure robust test coverage for the entire system lifecycle.
- Identify, track, and manage defects through automated test execution, ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to review automated test results and validate system functionality.
- Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.
- Maintain and update test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring that all automation testing efforts are well-documented.

Required Skills and Abilities
- 10+ years of experience in automation testing, including the development and execution of automated test scripts for integrated systems.
- 3+ years of experience with Integrated Eligibility systems, with experience in automating tests for Eligibility and Interfaces modules.
- Experience in defining and automating test cases for system processes, including case/claim lifecycles and converted data.
- Ability to identify test automation opportunities and provide solutions to improve testing speed, efficiency, and coverage.
- Experience with defect tracking tools and continuous integration tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve test automation challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor s or master s degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, and Business Administration.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of overall testing experience.
- 3+ years of automation testing experience, within Integrated Eligibility projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Integrated Eligibility systems and modules, including end-to-end test automation for Eligibility and Interfaces.
- Proven experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
