Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, debug, and validate embedded software for CPE devices (modems, Wi-Fi routers).
  • Conduct device-level testing and diagnostics for security-related issues.
  • Design and implement embedded features related to networking and security.
  • Write and run scripts to automate interaction with and collect data from millions of deployed devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and peers to resolve device issues and support product feature development.
  • Participate in security vulnerability analysis and remediation.
  • Perform hands-on testing involving Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and other physical interfaces.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Skills-Embedded, Cable, Modem, DOCSIS.
  • 5 7+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
  • Strong experience with C/C++ and scripting languages.
  • Deep knowledge of DOCSIS, cable modem technologies, and Wi-Fi networking.
  • Hands-on experience working with CPE hardware and debugging firmware.
  • Security-aware mindset, especially in embedded or networking contexts.
  • Comfortable working with hardware devices in a lab setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in team-oriented environments.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who is hands-on and detail-oriented.
  • Able to collaborate across multiple teams within a large organization.
