Certified Pega Business Systems Analyst

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and certified Pega Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to serve as the critical liaison between our business stakeholders and our technical development teams. The ideal candidate will be an expert in analyzing, designing, and optimizing complex business processes and translating them into functional requirements and user stories within the Pega platform.

You will leverage your deep understanding of Pega's capabilities and the Directly Capture Objectives (DCO) methodology to ensure our solutions are built efficiently, align with business goals, and deliver maximum return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Elicitation & Analysis:
  • Lead and facilitate workshops, interviews, and JAD sessions with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business needs.
  • Deconstruct complex business problems, define current state ("as-is") and future state ("to-be") process flows, and identify areas for improvement and automation.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise Pega-specific artifacts, including user stories, use cases, business rules, and functional specifications.
• Pega DCO & Solution Design:
  • Utilize Pega s Directly Capture Objectives (DCO) tools and methodology to document requirements, specifications, and business processes directly into the Pega platform.
  • Collaborate closely with Pega System Architects and developers to design and model Pega case types, data models, process flows, and UI wireframes.
  • Ensure that the proposed technical solution is feasible and accurately meets the documented business requirements.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business requirements and Pega's out-of-the-box capabilities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Certification: Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) certification is mandatory.
• Experience:
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience working on Pega platform implementation projects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Pega s DCO methodology and tools (Application Profiler, Discovery Maps, etc.).
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Pega's core capabilities, including Case Management, Business Process Management (BPM), and Business Rules Engine (BRE).
  • Proven experience in business process modeling (using BPMN or similar notations), requirements gathering, and creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
