Privacy and Compliance Analyst - Remote

Our client is seeking a driven Privacy and Compliance Specialist to strengthen their data protection practices across the Americas. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding personal data, ensuring compliance with evolving privacy regulations, and influencing the adoption of best practices across the organization. This is a great opportunity to combine operational expertise with strategic insight in a fast-paced environment.


  • Location: Remote Must work PST hours
  • Duration: 1 Year-long contract
  • Compensation: $35-50/hour
  • No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You ll Do:


  • Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) to identify and mitigate risks in handling personal data.
  • Maintain and update the enterprise-wide data inventory and associated processes.
  • Monitor, test, and enhance consent management tools and workflows.
  • Prepare regular reports and metrics to communicate program performance to leadership.
  • Respond to data subject requests (DSRs) in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

What Gets You the Job:


  • Bachelor s degree in pre-law, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data privacy and third-party risk management.
  • Hands-on experience with privacy tools such as OneTrust and conducting high-volume PIAs.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations across the Americas, including CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, LGPD, and others.
  • Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
