Location: Ocala, FL
Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $53.00 USD Hourly
Description: Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining, material handling, and processing.
  • Design efficient plant layouts and machine arrangements to maximize productivity and workflow.
  • Define the sequence of operations and establish procedures for tool and equipment fabrication, ensuring alignment with product performance requirements.
  • Adapt machine and equipment designs to meet specific factory and production conditions.
  • Integrate inspection and testing requirements into production plans to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools; identify inefficiencies and initiate corrective actions to maintain product quality.
  • Implement manufacturing processes that support statistical process control (SPC) and develop related techniques as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to provide guidance on design concepts and specification requirements, ensuring optimal use of equipment and manufacturing methods.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), specifically in the Plated Through Hole (PTH) area.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with:
    • Component preparation
    • Wave soldering
    • Selective soldering
    • Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
  • Experience with CCA and PTH assembly processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience with conformal coating spray processes.
