Network Infrastructure Technical Site Lead
Key Role:
Manage network and infrastructure operations for a large-scale campus environment. Oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure while providing strategic leadership for field service operations and 24 / 7 network support. Lead and manage the operations of an enterprise-level IT environment, including wired and wireless network infrastructure. Oversee field service representative teams and coordinate on-site technical support activities. Ensure optimal performance and availability of campus-level network systems. Support a 24 / 7 operations team with escalation procedures and incident response. Provide technical expertise and guidance for complex network infrastructure projects. Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical network issues and outages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network improvements and expansions. Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and best practices. Interface with vendor partners and manage relationships with equipment suppliers. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for infrastructure improvements. Coordinate maintenance windows and system updates across the network environment.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- Experience managing field service teams and coordinating on-site support
- Experience with incident management and escalation procedures
- Experience in enterprise or campus-level network operations
- Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Dell, and HPE networking components
- Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst switching platforms and asso cia ted Sof tware Defined Networking ( SDN ) and WAN technologies
- Ability to support 24 / 7 operations in a mission-critical environment
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher Certification
Additional Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in network operations or infrastructure management
- Experience with network automation and orchestration tools
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to support after-hours operations and emergency response
- Possession of excellent leadership and team management skills
- Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possession of excellent communication skills, for technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or a related field
- Networking Industry Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, and Aruba Certifications
