Position: Process Engineer
Location: on-site 5 days a week in Colorado Springs, CO
Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this is a contract to hire position. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.
Pay Rate Range: $48-$65/hr. (paid weekly on W2)
Project Description: The Process Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

- Develop and refine systems engineering and configuration management processes, procedures, and methodologies
- Create process documentation, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training material
- Analyze current state processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Design future state process maps and implementation roadmaps
- Facilitate process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
- Create metrics and reporting frameworks
- Conduct process audits and compliance assessments
Requirements:
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
- Have effective communication and presentation skills
- Must have 3, or more, years of experience in process engineering, or related field
- Must have experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Must have experience with process modeling tools
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor's degree any STEM related field
- Have a Process Improvement certification (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt)
