Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: [Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.] Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

The Autonomous Maritimes Platforms Systems Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated engineer to join our team and become a member of a skilled cross functional team responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of advanced autonomous systems. As a member of our team, you will be on the cutting edge of design and integration of advanced maritime systems, embedded electronics, and autonomy.

What you bring to the table:
  • Strong background in Autonomous Navigation, Control Systems, and Data Analysis
  • Experience integrating assemblies and subsystems into system level solutions
  • Requirements analysis, definition, management, validation and verification, test procedure creation and execution
  • Generation of technical engineer design products through use of applicable standards, best practices, and tools throughout the systems development life cycle.

  • Strong academic background with applicable experiences related to the autonomy, navigation, controls, and robotics fields
  • Knowledge of autonomounmanned undersea vehicles (AUV/UUVs) technologies, principles, theories and concepts
