Maintenance Technician
Primary Function: Specializes in either facilities and/ or mechanic maintenance
Facilities: Performs basic general facilities maintenance under some supervision
Mechanic: Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies plant mechanical equipment
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems
Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HVAC, lighting, and other building systems
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs (e.g., fire risers, air
compressors)
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, safety concerns, and emergencies (e.g., work
orders)
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies (LOTO)
Install appliances, equipment, fixtures, and shelving
Perform minor troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical equipment and systems, which may
require isolating the malfunction, disassembly, and repair
Serve as the site contact for relevant contractors such as roofers, electricians, and inspectors
Basic/Required Qualifications:
5-7 years of maintenance experience with electrical and plumbing
Excellent mechanical aptitude and knowledge of practices, tools, and equipment used to
maintain plant facilities
Trade school education or equivalent experience
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (25 pounds)
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
