The Global Layout department is committed to designing and optimizing fabrication facilities to ensure flawless execution and efficiency. As a Staff Engineer for Global Layout, you will rigorously identify the most effective layout strategies and skillfully implement them to compete at a global level.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with facilities and site teams on new and existing fab designs to improve manufacturing capabilities.
  • Lead the transition from 2D CAD to 3D CAD for US sites, driving innovations in layout planning systems.
  • Manage global metrics and develop documentation for standard operating procedures and best-known methods.
  • Engage externally with suppliers and industry consultants to collect benchmarking data and drive high-priority performance improvements.
  • Coordinate with various teams to provide tactical support and optimize layout designs for best-in-class space efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years of recent semiconductor experience, specifically passionate about fab layout, industrial engineering, or equivalent fields.
  • Proven track record in Greenfield and Brownfield fab design while improving production tool space density.
  • Two plus years using Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems across multi-functional groups.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two plus years' experience in leading a team or as a lead engineer in semiconductor environment.
  • Experience using Navisworks, Inventor, and Revit.
