Key Responsibilities
Continuous Improvement
- Lead lean and continuous improvement efforts across operations.
- Identify and implement enhancements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Quality & Root Cause Analysis
- Manage systems for tracking and resolving quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce delays and promote a quality-focused culture.
Training & Knowledge Management
- Develop and maintain training programs, competency tracking, and procedural documentation.
- Continuously improve standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and inefficiencies.
- Create dashboards and performance metrics to support decision-making and monitor KPIs.
ERP Optimization
- Work with internal teams to enhance ERP workflows (e.g., BOMs, routing, material flow).
- Support ERP upgrades, process mapping, and user training.
Process Engineering
- Optimize manufacturing processes tailored to ETO workflows.
- Support capacity planning and production scalability through data-driven insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal departments and external suppliers to drive strategic initiatives.
- Ensure manufacturability and process efficiency from order to delivery.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in ETO or complex, low-volume manufacturing.
- Experience with quality systems, root cause tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D), and CAPA.
- Background in SOP development, process mapping, and standard work implementation.
- Experience with ERP-related improvement initiatives preferred.
- Proven success in leading quality investigations and continuous improvement projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and facilitation skills; able to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in lean principles, visual management, and continuous improvement.
- Skilled in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
