Job Details
- Minimum 15 years of Project Management experience. PMP certification is required
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred
- In-depth understanding of project management methodologies and deployment practices specific to IT technologies
- Comprehensive understanding of financial processes
- Able to create financial tracking tools, track project metrics, forecast future trends, and manage change
- Excellent understanding of the contract process
- Able to manage contract modifications and take the lead of negotiations surrounding contract scope, cost, and schedule
- Excellent understanding of issue management and resolution, as well as risk mitigation
- Excellent resource and team management and development
- Practiced in conflict management and resolution
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
Requirements/Job Duties
- Ensure projects are planned and executed in line with PMO methodology
- Maintain continued focus on deployment process improvements
- Regularly inspect project deliverables
- Ensure team is driving toward project schedule, scope, and financial milestone expectations
- Execute proactive project end date management through regular inspection, notification, and timely updates
- Assist team members in accurate project forecasting including Estimates to Complete (ETC)
- Coach resources on simple to complex schedules
- Communicate any escalations and project concerns in a timely manner
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative measures to portray risk and issue financial impacts
- Collaborate with other PMO leaders to help with resourcing gaps or needs
- Utilize effective recruitment and interviewing techniques to manage to forecast staffing needs
- Work directly with Sales, Strategic Program Management, & deployment resources to ensure successful execution of our engagements
- Demonstrate WWT's values and culture in all actions and communications
- Serve as a role model to peers and direct and indirect reports
