The State of Wisconsin is looking for two (2) .NET Web Developer IIIs

Will close to submissions on 8/6/2025 at 4:00PM CST.

Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:

  1. Experience as a lead developer in a large application development project, preferably involving modernization of technology, as well as working with a cross-functional team to redesign and simplify UX and workflows to meet modern application design standards, using a material design library and component framework, such as MudBlazor - at least 2 years experience
  2. Candidate must be a .NET expert with extensive experience using ASP.NET Core v6-8 - at least 2 years experience
  3. Experience in Azure SQL cloud database solution - at least 1 year experience
  4. Experience with GitHub distributed version control and using GitHub actions to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines - at least 1 year experience

Nice to Have Skills:

  1. Experience working in an Agile software development environment
  2. Experience using Linq or Entity Framework
  3. Previous experience providing this service for government a plus, and experience with DWD's environments will be especially valuable

Duration of the Contract: 06/30/2026 with potential for extension.

Onsite or Remote? Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation allowed. Preference given to candidates in Madison and surrounding communities. This position will work mostly remote within the state of WI, but may be expected to come onsite as needed.
