Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's computer networks. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance network operations across all departments. This role involves configuring hardware, troubleshooting issues, and implementing network security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and antivirus systems
- Perform regular system updates and backups
- Document network configurations and procedures
- Collaborate with IT support to resolve technical issues
- Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash)
