Pega Automated Tester
The Opportunity:

Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development-and that means rigorous testing. That's why we need you, a knowledgeable test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience with automation tools, including Selenium, RFT, UFT, Eclipse, IntelliJ, or IDEs, version control tools, including Git, SVN, and industry best practices to successfully integrate in a client development environment
  • Experience with writing test plans, detailed test cases, creating test scenarios, executing manual or automated test scripts, and generating test results
  • Experience with reviewing business requirements and system specifications for planning the test scope
  • Experience with developing and configuring automated test scripts and maintaining automated test and test environments that support cross-browser testing
  • Experience with designing and developing manual and automation scripts for regression testing
  • Experience with SDLC and implementing incremental automation test scripts in an Agile team cadence
  • Experience with logging defects, creating defect reports, and conducting regression testing
  • Experience with Pega 8.x
  • IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI)
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with DevOps concepts and integrating regression tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline and build process
  • Experience with implementing a test automation suite to validate COTS and 3rd party products
  • Experience with 508 testing
  • Experience with programming languages, including Java, C, C++, C#, or Python
  • Knowledge of non-functional automation testing tools, including JMeter or LoadRunner
  • Knowledge with Web Services and API testing using tools, including SoapUI and Postman
  • Agile or SAFe Certifications
  • Software Tester Certification


Vetting:

Applicants selected must possess an active IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI) and meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; IRS MBI is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
