JOB TITLE: US Finance Systems and SAP ERP Manager
JOB LOCATION: Brooklyn, NY/Syracuse, NY, or Waltham, MA (hybrid)
WAGE RANGE*: $70-85/hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The US Finance Systems and ERP Manager will be responsible for leading the ERP Security team, which operates multiple controls over our SAP environment, and the Finance Systems Maintenance team, which handles critical system-related activities. The ideal candidate will be a strong people manager with a proven track record in leading teams, driving performance, and managing complex SAP systems and SOx controls. This role reports directly to the Global Financial Systems and ERP Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the ERP Security and Finance Systems Maintenance teams, ensuring effective management of complex SAP activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the teams, ensuring milestones are met and projects remain on track.
Lead and inspire a diverse team of approximately 15 employees across the US and India.
Support month-end close activities by resolving errors and ensuring core processes stay on schedule.
Manage relationships with US business stakeholders, providing clarity and transparency on requests while effectively managing expectations for deliverables.
Provide leadership for the US Back Office solution, prioritizing stakeholder demands across Hire to Retire, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay business areas while maintaining solution integrity.
Offer expert knowledge in ERP security, addressing GRC12 access control issues, general maintenance, and configuration.
Advise on user access management, role administration, and risk remediation activities.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders in Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Fleet, IMWM, HR, Payroll, and Time, ensuring business value is delivered and requirements are met.
Drive process improvements and innovations that add value to the business.
Consult on application rationalization when implementing new applications that interact with ERP systems.
Advocate for best practices and standard usage of SAP and associated solutions, assisting the business in their adoption.
Provide guidance to employees, oversee third-party consultants and contractors, and advise senior leaders as necessary.
Contribute to the release management process by collaborating with business and Technology Enablement leadership to identify key variables influencing the release plan.
Support SAP and associated applications User Communities by providing relevant documentation and contributing to the development of training materials and job aids.
Collaborate with application maintenance and development teams to leverage finance system functionality and customize processes as needed.
Promote adherence to Incident Management (IM) and Change Request (CR) processes, maintaining documentation and job aids, and ensuring compliance with SOx requirements.
Coordinate with IS Program development on all program and Business as Usual activities.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of SOx compliance requirements and frameworks.
Proven ability to manage complex SAP landscapes and related IT controls.
Finance background with knowledge of month-end/year-end close processes, master data management, and ideally FERC regulatory knowledge.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide and support multiple teams effectively.
