Hours: Start time 7:00 AM

Must Haves
  • Experience with high-tech equipment

  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage employees

  • 3 5 years of experience supervising employees

Good to Have: Telecom experience (preferred but not required)

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in engineering or related STEM discipline, or a two-year technical degree with significant relevant experience

  • Experience supervising a team

  • Two or more years of process engineering or manufacturing experience

  • Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to support process optimization

  • Experience with precision measurement equipment and methods

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to develop practical solutions

  • Ability to work in a team environment and resolve conflicts

  • Experience using Excel

Day to Day:
Install optical connector, manual process. Starting a new product and will have pilot line to ship to customer. Looking for someone to learn the technology and start bringing technicians and operators that will staff the line. Will working with 17 employees on the line. Responsible for mainlining stock. Will be A Degreed engineering and experience supervising employees. Will trouble equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Install optical connectors using manual processes on a pilot line for a new product.

  • Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 20 assemblers and technicians.

  • Train and onboard new employees to staff the pilot line.

  • Maintain inventory and stock for production.

  • Troubleshoot equipment and resolve operational issues.

  • Coordinate production workflow, ensuring timely shipping of orders.

  • Assist in process development in collaboration with design and manufacturing engineers.

  • Document and revise NPI production processes as conditions change.

  • Uphold quality expectations, including managing quarantined materials and re-testing when required.

  • Support a safe and productive working environment by addressing employee concerns.

  • Prioritize and manage workloads and allocation of resources.

  • Flexibly take on additional responsibilities as needed for project success.
