Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, test, and evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing, conducting research, and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
2. Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties.
3. Develop mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, and soliciting observations from operators.
4. Ensure system and product quality by designing testing methods, testing finished products and system capabilities, and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
5. Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
6. Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests.
7. Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
8. Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, and requesting special services as needed.
9. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, and obtaining necessary certifications.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in Engineering Analysis, PCBs, SolidWorks,
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and the design of electrical enclosures.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex system analysis.
6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. A proactive approach to work, with a strong drive for results and the ability to work under pressure.
11. Active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance
