Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data-centric products from discovery through delivery. This role focuses on defining and executing product strategies that align with enterprise goals, deliver measurable business value, and meet evolving user needs. The ideal candidate will bridge business, data, and technology domains to drive innovation, data quality, and product adoption.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related analytical field (Master s preferred).
- Proven experience in product management, specifically in data product strategy, discovery, and delivery.
- Strong technical background with working knowledge of modern data technologies and tools.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in data analysis, data warehousing, and software architecture.
- Familiarity with ETL pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and data quality/error handling frameworks.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, from discovery to delivery.
- Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Strong foundation in user research, prototype testing, and product discovery methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate the data product vision and strategy aligned
- Develop and maintain a dynamic product roadmap based on user insights and evolving business priorities.
- Identify enterprise data opportunities through market research, analytics, and stakeholder engagement.
Product Discovery
- Lead collaborative design sessions with business units to translate needs into draft requirements.
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to validate product concepts and features.
- Develop mockups and prototypes to guide development.
- Perform competitive analysis to identify differentiation opportunities.
- Use data-driven methods to uncover trends and inform discovery outcomes.
Product Development & Technical Oversight
- Collaborate with engineering, solution architects, and business teams to translate insights into actionable product features.
- Prioritize functionality based on business value, technical feasibility, and user impact.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data standards, and compliance requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the key liaison between business, data, and technology teams.
- Communicate product progress, priorities, and results to stakeholders and leadership.
- Advocate for data product adoption and provide training and support to ensure sustained usage.
Data Insights & Analytics
- Leverage data analysis tools to generate insights that inform product decisions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across platforms and products.
Performance Metrics & Reporting
- Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate product performance, ROI, and user engagement.
- Manage product budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations effectively.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Develop supporting collateral such as one-pagers and case studies.
