Title: Quality Assurance Analyst Manual & Automated Testing | SDLC, OpenText ALM
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 8 Months (October 1, 2025 June 30, 2026) | 1504 Hours
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with strong expertise in Manual Testing and Automated Testing to join our enterprise IT team in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and proven experience with Functional Testing and Regression Testing for enterprise applications. Hands-on experience with OpenText ALM is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases for enterprise applications and system integration projects.
Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, integration, performance, and usability.
Review requirements and technical documentation, providing timely feedback during all SDLC phases.
Conduct functional testing and regression testing to ensure defect-free releases.
Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers for timely resolution.
Utilize OpenText ALM for test planning, execution, and defect management.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessments.
Report testing progress, defect status, and software quality metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure all QA activities comply with organizational quality standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or related field OR 5+ years of equivalent work experience.
5+ years in systems development, testing, and/or business analysis.
Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies (manual, automated, functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing).
Hands-on experience with OpenText ALM or similar test management tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Keen attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve defects efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, CAST, or CSQA.
