Title: Quality Assurance Analyst Manual & Automated Testing | SDLC, OpenText ALM

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 8 Months (October 1, 2025 June 30, 2026) | 1504 Hours

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with strong expertise in Manual Testing and Automated Testing to join our enterprise IT team in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and proven experience with Functional Testing and Regression Testing for enterprise applications. Hands-on experience with OpenText ALM is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases for enterprise applications and system integration projects.

  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, integration, performance, and usability.

  • Review requirements and technical documentation, providing timely feedback during all SDLC phases.

  • Conduct functional testing and regression testing to ensure defect-free releases.

  • Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers for timely resolution.

  • Utilize OpenText ALM for test planning, execution, and defect management.

  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessments.

  • Report testing progress, defect status, and software quality metrics to stakeholders.

  • Ensure all QA activities comply with organizational quality standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or related field OR 5+ years of equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years in systems development, testing, and/or business analysis.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies (manual, automated, functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing).

  • Hands-on experience with OpenText ALM or similar test management tools.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve defects efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, CAST, or CSQA.
