How you will make an impact?

Work directly with CCG Supply Chain to support improvement initiatives by leading cross-functional projects and providing data analytics. Creates visual analytics for key operating metrics such that all levels in the organization gain useful insight. Foster a culture of data-driven, creative problem solving and clear, cross-functional communication.

What you will do:
  • Implement and further the CCG Supply Chain Logistics strategy.
  • Aligns activities w/ CCG data storage and formatting strategy.
  • Own and improve Supply Chain Logistics dashboards.
  • Provide data analytics for Supply Chain Logistics critical metrics (On-Time Delivery, CCG Fleet KPIs, Productivity, dashboard performance, etc,..).
  • Coordinate and track CCG Supply Chain continuity shipment and material reporting.
  • Support Transportation Management System implementation, data storage, and reporting.
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture within the Material & Information flows of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
  • Provide support across CCG as a data analytics SME.
How you will get here:
Education

Requires a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business or similar field.

MBA preferred.

APICS certification preferred.

Experience within a Transportation Management System preferred.

Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse/Logistics, SIOP or similar field.
  • Experience working with large data sets, data analytics, and data visualization.
  • Expertise collaborating with global, multi-site and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Skilled in building and implementing business processes within a global/matrixed organization.
  • Proficient Change Agent capable of redefining and creating repeatable processes where none exist.
  • Deep analytic skill set and supply chain knowledge.
  • Can clearly communicate to all levels within the organization.
  • Problem solver with continuous improvement experience.
  • Desire to lead and expand within this role and beyond.
