Job Title: Business Analyst (Microsoft Dynamics 365) Hybrid

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support the planning and execution of complex ERP initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are clearly defined, documented, and successfully delivered using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Note: Candidates must currently reside in or be local to Richmond, VA.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring business needs are fully understood and effectively translated into technical solutions.
- Apply deep knowledge of ERP systems and model-driven apps, with a focus on Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain, to validate requirements and guide solution delivery.
- Facilitate business process workflows involving multiple roles, approval chains, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Support data mapping, migration, and integration activities across multiple systems and data sources.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify process or system gaps and recommend actionable business or technical improvements.
- Collaborate closely with developers and Power Platform teams to ensure that model-driven apps align with overall D365 architecture and business objectives.
- Participate in QA testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate delivered solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in business and data analysis with a customer-focused mindset.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP projects.
- Proven background in developing and validating model-driven applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience with full lifecycle ERP implementations including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Strong analytical background, including proficiency in SQL and understanding of data management principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between business and technical teams.
