RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in San Francisco, CA is looking for a Senior/Lead Product Manager who will be tasked with innovating, designing and facilitating the agile implementation of product features to enhance the user experience for multiple brands across Merchandising systems.
Key Tasks:
* Develop business requirements for Merchandising Systems enhancements, features and functionality
* Work with various Business and IT eCommerce teams to facilitate and implement the Merchandising Systems Roadmap including measuring feature effectiveness and value
* Partner with Technical Project Managers to lead the execution of projects for various brands
* Serve as primary liaison between Technology, Creative, UI and Business teams
* Attend project meetings and provide status reports to the business team
* Work with Senior Management to help define Merchandising Systems strategy and roadmap
* Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of daily project issues
* Acts as an owner, mentor and product category expert; Builds strong cross functional relationships by approaching all interactions with an entrepreneurial mindset
* Develop business requirements for Merchandising Systems enhancements, features and functionality
* Educate Brand teams and Stakeholders on recommendations, guiding discussions to consensus and driving action items
* Develop high-level business requirements and detailed user stories
* Recommend and facilitate cross-concept initiatives and features
* Assists in definition and management of project scope and subsequent change requests
* Assist in the definition and implementation of new processes as they relate to new features
* Gather, track and report metrics and key performance indicators for new features and functionality
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years in product management or business analysis roles
* Deep experience in modernizing legacy merchandising information management and PO Management systems for large product assortments in an eCommerce Retail environment
* Looking for a candidate with digital merchandising experience or Enterprise PIM - Stibo
* The ideal candidate will have Product Management experience in Retail Supply Chain management and specifically, Merchandising Systems
* Good technical foundation, an appreciation for change management and business processes, a strong sense of ownership, and solid communication style across different audiences
* Experience managing relationships with business stakeholders, gathering requirements and documenting those requirements in the form of user stories
* Ability to interface with business as well as technology teams
* Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas with partners across the organization
* Experience working within Scrum or other Agile environments
* Experience with Jira and Confluence, specifically authoring effective JIRA stories for functional requirements, detailed acceptance criteria and prioritization with delivery teams
* Able to drive functional backlog prioritization and lead various requirement discussions for product enhancements
Additional Qualifications (Nice to Haves):
* Bachelor's degree in Computers, Engineering or equivalent experience
* Stellar communication skills and an ability to lead and influence others
* Strong interpersonal skills/team player and demonstrated the ability to work with various teams harmoniously while keeping project releases on time and on budget
* Strong drive towards execution; can-do type of person
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
