Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst / Business Analyst with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and data analytics. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, analyzing, and implementing data-driven solutions using Google Cloud Platform services, with a focus on data modeling, quality, and transformation. This role requires a strong mix of analytical, technical, and communication skills to bridge business requirements with technical execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical data solutions.

  • Design and implement data transformation workflows and data models within Google Cloud Platform environments.

  • Develop complex SQL scripts for data extraction, manipulation, and validation.

  • Work with BigQuery and Dataform to build scalable and optimized data pipelines.

  • Define and implement data quality rules and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

  • Perform data analysis, validation, and testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for data assets, processes, and models.



Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8-12 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or data engineering.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services, including BigQuery (Dataform experience preferred).

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex transformations and performance tuning.

  • Moderate to advanced data modeling experience, ideally using Medallion architecture principles.

  • Experience implementing data quality frameworks and validation processes.

  • Working knowledge of Python, Google Cloud Composer, or Google Cloud Dataflow.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
