Position: F5 & Network Automation Engineer
Location: Bloomington, IL (Remote)
Duration: Long Term

Pay Rate: $43/hr on W2 (All inclusive)

Job Description:
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible automation and Python scripting for network and infrastructure automation.
Good understanding and good working experience in Ansible, Python, NodeJS, ReactJS
Expert-level knowledge of F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM) configuration and management.
Proficiency in REST API integration and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS) and load balancing strategies.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and Git workflows.
Strong Linux administration and BASH scripting skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex automation and network issues.
Familiarity with JavaScript, NodeJS, ReactJS for automation dashboards or orchestration tools.

Automation Development: Build and maintain automation frameworks for F5 infrastructure.
API Integration: Work with REST APIs for network devices and F5 iControl REST for automation workflows.
Documentation: Prepare SOPs, technical documentation, and automation runbooks.
Performance Optimization: Monitor automation success rates and continuously improve workflows.
Configure and manage F5 BIG-IP modules (LTM, GTM, APM, ASM) for load balancing, traffic management, and security.
Implement SSL offloading, health monitors, and advanced traffic policies.
Develop and troubleshoot iRules using TCL for custom traffic manipulation.
Manage DNS-based global traffic distribution and GTM synchronization.
Perform SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management and compliance enforcement.
Troubleshoot F5 issues using diagnostic tools (tcpdump, logs, statistics).
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible automation and Python scripting for network and infrastructure automation.
