Job Description:

  • We are on the looking for an ADA Test Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in perform accessibility testing with ADA, WCAG 2.1/2.2, and other accessibility standards.
  • Manual and automation knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accessibility testing of web and mobile applications to ensure compliance with ADA, WCAG 2.1/2.2, and other accessibility standards.
  • Utilize assistive technologies such as screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation to evaluate user experiences.
  • Conduct manual and automated accessibility audits using tools like Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, and Accessibility Insights.
  • Document accessibility issues with clear steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results, and applicable WCAG criteria.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to provide remediation guidance and best practices for accessible design and code.
  • Participate in accessibility reviews during design, development, and testing phases to identify issues early in the SDLC.
  • Stay updated with evolving accessibility laws, standards, and tools, and share knowledge with internal teams.
  • Create test plans and test cases specifically focused on accessibility requirements and scenarios.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by working with users with disabilities to validate accessible experiences.
  • Deliver reports and presentations on accessibility findings and progress to stakeholders, including risk assessments and timelines for remediation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in ADA, WCAG 2.1/2.2, and other accessibility standards
  • Experience in creating test plans and test cases specifically focused on accessibility requirements and scenarios.
  • Experience in working with screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation to evaluate user experiences.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Banking and Financial Industry experience
