Position Title: Oracle EBS SCM O2C Process Owner (W2 Only, No H1B)
Location: Candidate must reside in one of the following states: Austin, TX / Chicago, IL / Atlanta, GA / Minnesota
Travel Requirement: Up to 30% may include travel to client plants in Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Minnesota; and Atlanta, GA

Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle EBS SCM Order-to-Cash (O2C) Process Owner to join our team on a W2 basis. This is more than a traditional functional consultant role-this position demands a hands-on process owner who can lead, drive improvements, and provide end-to-end functional ownership of the Oracle EBS O2C process, including Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP).
You will be responsible for ongoing support, customizations, production support, enhancements, and guiding development teams across a multi-site manufacturing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full Oracle EBS Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle
- Provide functional leadership across Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Logistics, Shipping, and 3PL integrations
- Work closely with business stakeholders to drive continuous improvements in O2C and ASCP processes
- Lead and support fit-gap analysis, requirement gathering, testing, and UAT efforts
- Collaborate with Oracle EBS developers to guide customization and solution design
- Mentor junior team members and offshore/onshore developers
- Provide day-to-day production support and troubleshoot complex issues
- Engage with plant operations teams and support business process optimization initiatives
- Participate in planning and forecasting processes including SIOP, demand, and supply planning
Required Qualifications:
- 5 10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS SCM as a functional lead or process owner
- Expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes
- Strong understanding of Logistics, Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Shipping, and 3PL
- Deep functional knowledge of Oracle ASCP, SIOP, supply/demand planning
- Experience in discrete manufacturing environments
- Ability to lead fit/gap sessions, translate business needs into system requirements, and lead UAT
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Demantra is a plus
- Prior experience with multi-plant manufacturing operations is a strong advantage
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams
- Provide functional support for Oracle EBS Financial modules (primarily GL and SLA) across North America and EMEA regions.
- Analyze, design, configure, and test enhancements to Oracle Financials to support evolving business processes.
- Participate in requirement gathering, documents configure setups including new chart of accounts (COA), AP/AR/SLA setups as per the requirements
- support users across AP, AR, FP&A and CFO team
- Participate in GL-related projects: configuration, implementation, testing, documentation, and end-user training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams (infrastructure, database, security, operations) to deliver and support Oracle Financials capabilities.
- Provide day-to-day production support, including patching, custom reports, ad-hoc queries, and issue resolution.
- Identify and recommend best practices for optimizing Oracle Financials usage.
- Document system requirements, test plans, process flows, and swimlane diagrams using standardized documentation tools.
- Ensure all solutions comply with internal change management and security policies.
- Coordinate with development teams on user interfaces and both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support late-night production releases and weekend implementations as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on technical knowledge of Oracle Financials R12 (especially GL, SLA, FA)
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Ability to describe end-to-end business processes and cross-functional integrations
- Excellent analytical, documentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Familiarity with production support cycles and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP is a plus
- Experience with MS Project or similar project management tools is a plus
