Overview:
The Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain web-based applications that support agency operations. This includes both front-end and back-end development, integration with third-party systems, and ensuring applications are secure, reliable, and efficient. The role requires proficiency with .NET and C#, as well as experience building scalable applications in a government or enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications (front-end and back-end).

Build and maintain integrations with third-party applications (e.g., Workday, other agency systems).

Work closely with BI Developers to consume and display data from internal data warehouses.

Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions tailored to agency needs.

Contribute to innovation by incorporating AI/ML where appropriate.
Preferred Skills/Experience:

3+ years of experience in application development.

Proficiency with C#, .NET, and SQL Server.

Experience with web development frameworks (front-end and back-end).

Familiarity with integration design and data exchange between systems.

Exposure to AI, machine learning, or innovative development practices preferred.

Knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus but not required.
Additional Details:

On-site full-time for the first month, then eligible for a hybrid schedule (typically 3 days per week on-site).
