Job Description

Meditech Magic Support and Developer resource for onshore operations to maintain, support, and enhance our existing Meditech Magic EHR systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Meditech Magic modules, NPR report writing, and interfaces, with the ability to troubleshoot, develop, and optimize workflows across clinical and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support for Meditech Magic applications across clinical and financial modules.

Troubleshoot system issues, errors, and downtime in coordination with end users and offshore teams

Provide end-user support including ticket triaging, root cause analysis, and resolution.

Coordinate with vendor (Meditech) and internal IT for patches, upgrades, and maintenance.

Assist in change management and testing for enhancements and fixes.

Design, develop, and maintain custom NPR reports.

Modify and optimize Meditech Magic screens, menus, and dictionaries.

Work on enhancements to existing workflows, reports, and modules.

Develop interfaces using Meditech Magic toolsets for external systems like LIS, RIS, billing, etc.

Perform unit and system testing and provide technical documentation.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Meditech Magic platform.

Proficient in NPR (Report Writer) and Magic programming language.

Familiar with Meditech dictionaries, procedures, macros, and task builders.

Experience with HL7 interfaces, data mapping, and interface troubleshooting.

Understanding of hospital workflows across clinical, financial, and administrative departments.

Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data security best practices.

The resource needs to be in hospital facility for 3-5 days in a week and closely support physician.

Good to have Skills:

Experience in integration with third-party tools (e.g., PACS, Pharmacy, Lab Systems).

Familiarity with SQL and data extraction tools for reporting.

Knowledge of Meditech Expanse (is a plus but not mandatory).
