Job Title: Windows Server Administrator (SharePoint & Teams Migration) Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Administrator with hands-on expertise in SharePoint and Microsoft Teams migration (from on-premise to cloud). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and maintaining Windows Server infrastructure while leading the migration of collaboration platforms to Microsoft 365.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support Windows Server environments, ensuring performance, availability, and security.
Plan and execute the migration of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams from on-premise to Microsoft 365/Cloud.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal downtime during migration activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server performance, access control, and application deployment.
Develop technical documentation, procedures, and support guides related to migration processes.
Monitor system performance and proactively maintain systems to avoid downtime.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator.
Proven experience in SharePoint (on-premise and online) and Microsoft Teams administration and migration.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange Online, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and migration tasks.
Solid knowledge of networking, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
