Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant to implement, configure, and support Workday HCM and related modules. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday s configuration, business process design, integrations, and reporting, along with strong collaboration and client engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities

Lead or support the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, etc.).

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.

Configure business processes, security roles, and calculated fields within Workday to meet organizational needs.

Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, BIRT, and Prism Analytics.

Work with technical teams to design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems using Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors.

Conduct unit testing, system testing, and UAT, ensuring configurations align with business objectives.

Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Stay updated on Workday releases and new functionality, advising clients on adoption and optimization opportunities.

Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and documentation.

Train end-users and create detailed user guides and documentation for processes and configurations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

3+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Functional or Technical Consultant.

Experience with one or more Workday HCM modules Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence, or Time Tracking.

Proficiency in Workday configuration, business process setup, and security administration.

Hands-on experience in Workday Integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio).

Strong understanding of HR business processes and data flows across systems.

Experience with Workday Reporting tools (Advanced Reports, BIRT, or Prism Analytics).

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality solutions under tight timelines.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Workday certifications in HCM, Payroll, or Integrations.

Experience with Workday Extend or Workday Adaptive Planning.

Exposure to API-based integrations, middleware tools (Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.).

Familiarity with data migration and data conversion processes.

Experience working with Agile project methodologies.

Prior experience in enterprise or government Workday implementations.
