Staffing Specialist/Recruiter/HR Oakbrook Terrace - On Site role, Not remote or hybrid


Our client is looking for a highly organized Staffing Specialist who can wear multiple hats within their organization in the professional contract staffing industry.

The Recruiter/Staffing Specialist provides high-level services to clients and assignment employees including sourcing and recruitment of candidates to fill all client requisitions. Positions include contract short-term assignments to assignment-to-hire positions.

The Specialist with meet and develop relationships with clients and determine and implement recruitment strategies to meet client needs.

Primary Responsibilities


Work with clients to maintain and further recruiting relationships
Ensure recruiting activities are managed and planned for branch location to appropriately support client needs
Recruit and place qualified candidates on assignment
Ensure highest standard of quality is maintained in regard to quality of candidates and employees provided to clients
Ensure compliance of branch locations (application process, E-Verify, I-9)
Manage multiple projects and requisitions
Coordinate with the internal sales team on potential new business opportunities
Attend client meetings via phone, Teams and in person
Problem solve for clients and employees
Support branch processes and procedures

- overseeing contractors information when they are going through the interview and hiring process (Interviews, Predictive Index taking and review, Paperwork to fill out upon hire, Review of duties, how to report to the company contracted to, how to fill out hours and verify accuracy, etc)

- handle all the payroll and office admin duties to ensure workflow

**The candidate needs to place / recruit temps in office jobs, accounting like accounts payable , admins, customer service, call center types and more.

Professional Qualifications

3+ years of experience in the staffing industry, Professional/Clerical/Finance/Banking/Legal/Customer Service etc. Additional experience as an HR Generalist (and could be past recruiter) experience either from a corporate role or a staffing firm (but NOT Lite Industrial)

Ability to multi-task
Experience using an ATS or CRM (Tempworks, Avionte, Bullhorn, or other)
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to problem solve
