Job Summary
Join the HIRE Technology project management consulting team to work with a great Houston client. We are in need of an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead a major supply chain technology transformation program for a global enterprise organization. This high-impact role will drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of integrated systems that modernize sourcing, procurement, inventory, forecasting, logistics, and digital operations. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, guiding multiple workstreams, ensuring governance discipline, and delivering measurable business results across technology and operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a multi-phase supply chain technology transformation initiative.
- Define and manage scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics aligned to enterprise goals.
- Oversee multiple cross-functional workstreams, coordinating technology, business, and operations stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain governance, communication, and reporting structures to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues; implement mitigation and escalation strategies proactively.
- Partner with architecture, product, and engineering teams to ensure integrated and scalable solution delivery.
- Drive adoption of project management best practices, agile/hybrid delivery models, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present executive-level progress updates and recommendations.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and delivery excellence across all teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience leading large-scale, multi-system technology initiatives.
- Proven success managing enterprise programs involving supply chain, ERP, or related operational platforms.
- Strong understanding of supply chain functions such as order management, procurement, inventory management, forecasting, and logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies and align cross-functional teams toward shared objectives.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline will be a plus.
Preferred
- PMP or PgMP certification.
- Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or Supply Chain-related field.
- Experience leading digital transformation in large, distributed, or service-based organizations.
- Familiarity with cloud-based enterprise ecosystems and modern integration approaches.
