Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Administrator with ITSM SME expertise to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, administration, and support of the ServiceNow platform, with a deep understanding of ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Request Management. You will serve as the go-to Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ITSM best practices and ServiceNow platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, primarily focusing on ITSM modules.

  • Implement and support core ITSM applications: Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Request Management.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within ServiceNow.

  • Customize forms, workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, ACLs, and notifications.

  • Manage ServiceNow platform upgrades and patches, ensuring compatibility and stability.

  • Provide platform support and troubleshooting, including performance tuning and issue resolution.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to platform configuration, procedures, and user guides.

  • Implement ITSM best practices and advise process owners on improvements and optimizations.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise tools and third-party systems as needed.

  • Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams.

  • Maintain data integrity and ensure security standards are followed across the platform.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or Developer.

  • Strong expertise in ITSM modules and processes.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.

  • Additional certifications such as ITSM Implementation Specialist or CIS-ITSM preferred.

  • Strong scripting experience using JavaScript, Glide, and related APIs within ServiceNow.

  • Experience in mid-server configuration, discovery, and integrations is a plus.

  • Familiarity with CMDB, Service Catalog, and Flow Designer.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • ITIL Foundation Certification.

  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules like HRSD, CSM, or SecOps is a plus.

  • Knowledge of integration tools (REST, SOAP, JSON, etc.)

  • Experience working in a large enterprise or managed services environment.
