Job Details

NOC Technician Location: Dallas, TX (ONSITE 5days/week)
Contract Length: 6-12 months
Scheduled hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Please note: This role may also require participation in an on-call rotation or shift work to support 24/7 operational coverage.

We re seeking an experienced Network Operations Center Technician to support one of our key clients in maintaining the performance, reliability, and security of their critical telecommunications infrastructure. This role includes supporting major systems such as microwave, two-way radio, wireless LAN, and more. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, technically skilled, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a client-facing environment.
Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years in a NOC environment or equivalent technical support role
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications network design and architecture
  • Familiarity with VMS, access control systems, FAA tower lighting requirements
  • Experience troubleshooting SCADA and AMS systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment
  • Technical certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain digital and analog telecommunications networks
  • Provide primary support for major network systems and secondary support for smaller systems
  • Diagnose, resolve, and document network issues; escalate as needed
  • Conduct trend and capacity analysis to anticipate needs
  • Support video monitoring and access control systems
  • Monitor NERC/CIP critical sites and notify personnel of potential issues
  • Ensure compliance with all Change Management procedures
  • Coordinate planned outages and restoration activities
  • Assist in training new team members and serve as a mentor
  • Stay up to date on telecom regulations, protocols, and best practices
  • Be available for on-call and shift work as part of a 24x7 operation

  • Timely response to CIP-related alarms
  • Accurate and efficient escalation and coordination with field teams
  • Proactive system monitoring and issue resolution
  • Consistent documentation and adherence to standards
