About the Role

As a Software Engineer in this contingent assignment, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of software solutions for moderately complex initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze challenges, implement scalable solutions, and ensure alignment with engineering standards and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and execution of software engineering deliverables for medium to large-scale projects.
• Analyze and resolve moderately complex technical issues involving multiple variables.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet project goals and ensure technical feasibility.
• Apply knowledge of software engineering principles, policies, and procedures to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java.
• 3+ years of experience developing microservices.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate).
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• 3+ years of experience building cloud-native applications using AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• 2+ years of experience with event streaming platforms (Apache Kafka or Confluent).
• Experience with JavaScript and in-memory databases.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
