Job Details

Role Overview
We re seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise security initiatives across cloud and on-prem environments. This role will drive major programs such as Zero Trust, DLP, IAM, Cloud Security, and Security Automation to enhance e.l.f. s cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage security solutions aligned with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and SOX frameworks.

  • Lead initiatives across Zero Trust, Cloud Security, DLP, IAM, and Endpoint modernization.

  • Oversee vulnerability management, incident response, and security operations.

  • Enhance email, DNS, and network defenses against phishing, malware, and data loss.

  • Partner with IT, DevOps, and digital teams to embed security into design and development.

  • Develop security dashboards, awareness training, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master s preferred).

  • 7+ years in information security engineering, architecture, or operations.

  • Deep expertise in cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), IAM, DLP, and threat detection tools.

  • Strong hands-on experience with EDR, SIEM, VPN, NAC, and email security (e.g., Proofpoint, M365 Defender).

  • Knowledge of frameworks: NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, SOX.

  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and incident response skills.
