787 Systems Strategy Engineer (Sys Integr, Ver & Validation)

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Systems Integration Engineer to join our 787 Systems Strategy Integration team located in Everett, WA.
The candidate will work with a dynamic and diverse Systems Integration team that supports the design, configuration, production, certification, and delivery of 787s. The Systems integration team supports large-scale multisystem projects from concept, to integrated testing, certification, production incorporation, and delivery.
The 787 program is undertaking a number of significant improvements including new features and capabilities to enhance this already highly capable airplane. Additionally, the Systems Integration team supports the entire 787 fleet in service, leading resolution to fleet and safety issues, customer commitments, and overall airplane system product strategy.
This opportunity will provide the engineer with a detailed exposure of the core systems components at the heart of the 787, learning about systems interfaces, airplane level thinking, change management, and project management.
Successful candidates will have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, solve complex problems, present information to executive leadership, and build and execute integrated project plans.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with airplane safety, regulatory administration, and various 787 program teams such as change management, supply chain, production engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, and delivery centers.
Navigate and contribute to engineering development, design, and implementation processes related to systems and software validation and verification, development assurance, certification, production and retrofit change implementation, and airplane test.
Implements systems engineering best practices, and process improvements.

- Supports cross-functional teams through the development and integration of large-scale multi-system projects.
- May work with multiple airplane systems including Environmental Controls Systems, Mechanical Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Electrical Sub-Systems, Electrical Design and Standards, Flight Deck, Cabin Systems, Network Systems, Avionics Systems, Airplane Safety, Cyber Security and will lead these teams through a variety of complex projects.
